Set the standard early for your parenting plan
Now that summer is here, it is time to think about fun things that you can do with your children. This doesn’t mean that you need to spend a lot of money or plan a fancy trip. Instead, you can enjoy things around town that give you and your children a chance to make memories and have fun. When you are first going through the divorce, you can set the precedent for your parenting plan on how the time with your children will be spent. Not only do you need to work through the fun matters, but you also have to think about the rules that you are going to set.
Taking the time to think about how you are going to set up your parenting plan is important. Part of this is going to be based on how your child custody agreement is set. There are often terms in those that you have to abide by, so make sure that you are familiar with those.
